About Me

Hello! My name is Midori Matsushima, and I am a self-taught sculptor and multimedia artist. I specialize in miniatures and making art with found objects, especially things found in nature. I am inspired by many different types of art, from the classics to modern pieces, but I have a special fascination with stop-motion animation. 

Creating with clay has been an interest of mine ever since I can remember, along with making small things. I have memories of making fairy houses out of grass and searching for things I could fashion into tiny furniture when I was little, and I am glad to say that my skills have only grown since then.
